Welcome To Sassy Sistah

Hello,   My name is Cathryn Michael Murray and I am the founder of Sassy Sistah. I created this site to help Inspire others, especially young women. I have not always been as confident and comfortable with my body, and I know that many young women are struggling with body images and the messages that the media tells our young people. In addition to body image, our young people, especially young girls deal with many issues in  society. It is so important that young people surround themselves with positive people. Our young people need role models. Positive role models that can help guide our young people.

This morning I stood in the mirror. I stared in the mirror and truly looked at myself. I had no makeup on, and I was just ME. I looked at my body and for the first time in so long, I LOVED seeing the person that was in the mirror. I love my size and I was able to truly SAY I am beautiful and truly mean it. It really does not matter about size or imperfections. God created me, therefore, I am beautiful
